LANG10050 - French for General Purposes 4 (Credit)* - Sem 1 2017

This module is designed for students who already have an intermediate level of French. The aim is to develop communicative competence in a wide range of situations including more specialized topics. Emphasis will be placed on communication and comprehension skills as well as written communication, vocabulary building and grammar review. Themes will be introduced to develop an understanding of the culture and society of contemporary France. This module will be delivered via small group teaching with classes having a maximum of 18 students. Students will also have access to extra resources and materials via Moodle, the ALC's Virtual Learning Environment.

All students interested in taking a language module must attend the UCD Applied Language Centre (ALC) for language consultation. This is to ensure that you are registered to the correct module for your language level. Registration to your chosen module will be provisional until language consultation has taken place.
