Detailed Information

Mindfulness and Compassion for Living Well

This lecture will give you an introduction to mindfulness and compassion. While there will be some time spent on the origins and history of mindfulness, the emphasis will be on how the practice of mindfulness and compassion can help you in your life, whether you want to be able to slow down and appreciate more fully the good things in your life, or if you experience anxiety, or you'd like to find ways of being kinder to yourself, or manage stress more effectively. The presentation will include short, guided mindfulness and compassion meditations.
