| John Baker was a founding member of the Equality Studies centre and the Equality Studies postgraduate programmes at UCD, leading their development until his retirement in 2013. John’s contribution to the normative political theory of Equality has received international acclaim, a fact that is reflected in the centrality of his thinking to the structure and substance of the Equality Studies programmes. The award will recognise scholastic excellence in the field of egalitarian theory from a student on the Equality Studies Masters programme. |
