Long Description:	The Patrick Clancy Medal and Prize, funded by the College of Human Sciences, is to honour the achievements of Professor Patrick Clancy, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology, 1998 – 2002 and Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences, 2003 – 2005. The Medal and Prize of €1,000 will be awarded to a full-time student who achieves 1st Class Honours and the highest grade in the year in the Masters programmes in Sociology. The Medal is presented at the Awards Day Ceremony in March.
