Long Description:	The management team of the Children School Lives Study based in the UCD School of Education decided to grant an award to the top achiever student of the MSc in Education, Children and Youth in memory of Aoife Donegan. Aoife was a primary school teacher a PhD student at the UCD School of Education and member of Children School Lives Study and sadly died in February 2022. She dedicated her life to research and advocate for children’s voice and her research contributed to shape the way in which the study now explores children’s perspectives of curriculum, pedagogy and spaces for participation. She was a fierce and committed advocate of children’s rights and contributed to lectures on this topic during her doctoral studies at UCD with extraordinary feedback from the students.
