| This fund was established from the personal resources of the Most Reverend Desmond Connell, DD, Professor of Metaphysics at the University (1972-1988), to advance teaching and study in the science or discipline of philosophy or theology in the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas and, in particular, to enable and assist graduates of University College Dublin to conduct and publish such research.
