| FDC group provides a range of advisory services to farmers and SMEs across rural Ireland. Following a series of discussions in early 2021, they have agreed to sponsor a number of scholarships for students on the Masters in Agricultural Extension and Innovation (D049) which equips graduates with the skills and competencies for working with farm families in building sustainable future livelihoods through knowledge and innovation. They have agreed to support 4 students on the D049 Masters programme annually, starting in 2021/22 and subject to review. They will also offer opportunities to these students to conduct their thesis research on topics relating to the FDC services, gaining exposure to the ways in which consultancy services are provided to farmer clients. |
