Long Description:	Engineering Graduates Association Gold Medals The UCD Engineering Graduates Association (EGA) promotes and maintains contact between Engineering graduates and the University. As part of this objective, the EGA awards Gold Medals to the final year students who demonstrate excellence in undergraduate study and research, in each of the Engineering disciplines. Leading companies in each of the engineering disciplines sponsor the medals. EGA Gold Medal for Biosystems Engineering Awarded to the student who achieves first class honours and the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) in the final year of the ME (Biosystems & Food Engineering).
