Long Description:	Intel have funded this scholarship to enable the development of a pipeline of Masters graduates. The output will be 4 students per Masters Course, from 2016 to 2020, with key skills matched to the future business needs of Intel Ireland. ME in Electronic and Computer Engineering (School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering) Throughout the programme Intel will form a relationship with this group of Masters students with a view to hiring them based on business needs. For the avoidance of doubt the Masters students will be under no obligation to be recruited by Intel Ireland. Intel Ireland Ltd. and UCD will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Friday 4th March 2016 and this scholarship programme is one of the activities envisaged thereunder. The Admissions committee of each Masters course will award the scholarships on the basis of academic merit. ME (Electronic & Computer Engineering) In the case of this degree programme, students are progressing within a 5-year integrated programme. The four awardees will be chosen by a committee consisting of the Head of School, the Head of Subject and the ME Programme Coordinator. This committee would be primarily guided by GPA results at the end of the 3rd Stage but could take account of 2nd Stage GPA results, especially in the case of students spending their 3rd Year abroad. It may be noted that a minimum GPA of 2.8 is needed to progress to the ME programme.
