On successful completion of this module students will:
1. Have enhanced skill in utilising data optimally to gain business insights - to identify strategic opportunity and to deliver upon identified strategic objectives.
2. Have experience of conducting live market research to identify business opportunities and develop a minimum viable product (MVP) for practical application of business concept.
3. Be better prepared for the professional workplace by having honed their essential skills in project management and efficient communication across different levels.
4. Have practical data management skills that are in demand across multiple industry sectors.
5. For selected project teams, have had presentation coaching and practice prior to the team having experience of delivering a presentation to senior industry stakeholders.
1. Ideation - initial brainstorming supported by case-study based lectures.
2. Exploration - evaluating business opportunities.
3. Definition - detailed market research and product/business concept establishment.
4. Development - minimum viable product (MVP) development.
5. Validation - review by instructor / (if desired) presentation to industry stakeholders.
