Performance Measurement and Performance Management represents a framework from which the use of managerial accounting and control systems in companies can be fruitfully analysed. This course addresses in particular the technical and behavioural attributes of the process of developing budgetary planning and financial and non-financial performance measurement systems including consideration of target setting, rewards and incentives.

Learning Outcomes:

On completing this module participants should be able to- identify how performance measurement and performance management concepts can be applied in organisational settings, and particularly within the organisations they work for;- know and master performance measurement and performance management key instruments and tools such as, for example, objectives and critical success factor identification, causal analysis, anticipatory management, or ex-post performance measurement, analysis and evaluation;- modify or request modifications in their organisation's performance measurement and performance management system to meet its specific needs.
