Digital Business initiatives and applications are an integral part of today’s and tomorrow’s business. This module identifies and discusses innovative and sustainable Strategic Information Systems (SIS) and demonstrate how these digital business initiatives are utilised by organisations to gain and sustain competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Learning Outcomes:

On completing this module, students will be expected to be able to:

a) Develop an analytical approach to problem-solving, and the contribution that management information systems can make to the solution of business problems.

b) Identify and analyse digital business opportunities for competitive advantage

c) Draft a strategic digital business plan

d) Discuss the wider organisational implications of advanced Digital Business in organisations.
