The module concentrates on Decision Analysis and associated topics such as risk analysis and the role of judgement in decision-making, with the aim of providing insight into how one can structure complex decisions. Effective managerial decision making requires an ability to identify and use relevant data, so that decisions have a quantitative as well as a qualitative foundation.

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module, students should be able to:- Structure complex decisions into a manageable model of the problem- Identify and test the key assumptions underlying a decision- Make informed choices based on a blend of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
