On completing this module, students will be expected to be able to(a) Develop an analytical approach to problem-solving, and the contribution that management information systems can make to the solution of business problems.(b) Build a framework for the effective planning and development of management information systems, and their alignment with the business plans of the organisation(c) Identify emerging trends in ICT, with particular reference to those that have most potential for conferring strategic advantage if harnessed properly(d) Discuss the wider organisational implications of advanced ICT in business firms.
