SBUS41130 Capstone Project

Academic Year 2023/2024

By developing a solution to a real problem faced by an organization, students will have the opportunity to improve their analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. The capstone project helps students to master the real challenge of integrating diverse streams of knowledge acquired during their studies, combined with practical, real-world application.

For the capstone project, students will work in teams to complete a complex business project for client company based in Ireland. Prior to the project start date, participants will engage in various workshops to support the project process, such as Research Methods & Data Analysis, Cultural Skills and Management Consulting Skills.

The Capstone Projects take place in Summer (June-August). The capstone projects must result in a final written report, which will be submitted to the Programme Office by the agreed deadline. **While all capstone projects are completed in teams, individual grades may vary based on peer assessment and / or overall contributon to the project.**
