ACC40920 MAcc Capstone

Academic Year 2019/2020

This module is designed to provide students with the opportunity to improve their analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills by requiring them to develop a solution to a real accounting related problem facing an organisation. The module aims to help students draw on and integrate the knowledge they have acquired in other modules on the programme and apply it to a real-world situation. Prior to the project start date students will engage in various workshops to support the project process such as research methods, problem solving skills, report writing and presenting to boards. The projects will be undertaken in groups and will result in a written report that they will have to present to the organisation and faculty.
