The aim of this project is to allow students to apply the material covered in BMGT 1008D Business Environment, to their own workplace or one which the student is familiar with. Using the concepts covered in BMGT 1008D Business Environment, students will be required to undertake a comprehensive review and analysis of a sector of their choice operating in the Irish business environment.

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module you should be able to:
Conduct a thorough analysis of a business sector.
Demonstrate an understanding of the relevance and importance of analysing the business environment in a practical setting.
Demonstrate an understanding of the main analytical techniques and conceptual frameworks for conducting an external environmental analysis.
Transfer the research, analysis and business report writing skills developed during the module into your own work situation.
Present primary and secondary research results in a variety of ways including written reports, presentations and peer engagement.
