On completion of this module you should be able to: Identify the critical role of business environment analysis and understand the implications of environmental analysis and research for management practice. Describe the key environmental factors that stimulate changes within the business environment. Review business environmental trends on international and sectoral levels in the Irish business environment. Understand the key principles of ethics and corporate social responsibility in business. Appreciate the importance and key factors in entrepreneurship. Analyse the evolution of Industrial Policy as adopted by the development agencies in Ireland. Understand the interaction between external business environment and internal business processes. Source and analyse secondary sources of information relating to the business environment.
