On completion of this module the student should be able to:
- Understand and elicit how e-commerce technology works and should be applied
- Present an organised planning approach to the development and exploitation of a business opportunity in the e-commerce domain
- Develop a business plan for an e-commerce idea to address product development, sales and marketing, implementation and financial operations
- Objectively evaluate the potential for success of a business idea in the e-commerce domain
- Understand and critically assess the commercial opportunities and threats arising from changing e-commerce infrastructure and new technologies such as mobile.
