The purpose of this course is to develop the capabilities of future managers by giving them an awareness of the integration of business and ethical issues. The course offers tools to deal with these issues in a constructive way, in real business situations within organisations. Students will have opportunities to present and discuss ethical issues in business case studies and ethical dilemmas.

What will I learn?

Learning Outcomes:

The course aims to achieve the following:- an appreciation of the role of ethics and corporate social responsibility in business and society- an awareness of ethics in organisational effectiveness;- the development of management skills for identifying ethical issues and their resolution in a business/ organisational context;- an understanding of a range of typical ethical dilemmas in business;- a grasp of various ethical approaches and theories;- increased confidence in using ethical concepts and terminology.
