Global managers need to be able to relate operations and the supply chain to ensure the management of flows of products, services and information globally in an increasing competitive environment. This module focuses on the study of business relationships between a company, its suppliers and its customers in the global environment. The module will provide students with an opportunity to develop knowledge of the entire flow of the end-to-end supply chain, from raw materials to finished products. A special emphasis is placed the management of relationships and the supply flow of companies operating as multinationals in a number of companies.

Learning Outcomes:

Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain; managing global operations; encourage students to think strategically and critically about supply chains in the international environemtn; understand global operations and planning; form a strategic focus and the ability to apply concepts at an operational level; promote class discussion, group work and personal development, understand the complexities of managing the supply chain across a number of business environment.
