TS00180 Presentation Skills

Academic Year 2017/2018

This workshop look at the daunting task of making an oral presentation. It is concerned with figuring out who the target audience is, what they want, and where you can feasibly take them in the short time of the presentation. Most presentations that go wrong, go wrong at the preparation stage, before the presenter even starts to speak. It will also look briefly at presentation style (body language, eye contact, etc.) and visual aids. There will be in-class discussion, small-group exercises and some voluntary short presentations in front of the class.
