When they have completed the thesis, candidates should have acquired a good degree of proficiency in the following skills:
-academic writing with appropriate control of formal register;
-analytical writing;
-management of time and how to work to deadlines;
-recognition, selection and use of relevant research tools and/or facilities;
-construction of a thorough, precise and informative Bibliography;
-acquisition of skill to retrieve or discover necessary information;
-ability to sift through, question and analyse evidence;
-ability to be self-critical and reflective, know how to self-correct;
-facility to listen to and act upon the criticism/advice of others;
-understanding of how to present evidence and to write clearly;
-ability to produce a minor academic thesis
