Knowledge outcomes:
On completion of this module, the student should be able to:
- Competently assist in performance of a range of radiographic examinations..
- Adapt technique depending on the patient presentation and clinical environment.
- Accurately evaluate image quality and radiographc outcomes
- Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic pathologies encountered.

- Critically evaluate the utility of imaging examinations to patient management.
Personal / Professional Development:
- Perform as an effective member of the imaging department team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the range of modalities within a modern imaging department and their appropriate application to particular pathologies or anatomical areas.
- Demonstrate personal ability to care for patients appropriately during all examinations
Practical radiographic experience across a range of imaging modalities within the Irish health setting.
