POL42090 EU FieldTrip:Engaging Brussels

Academic Year 2019/2020

This module revolves around a field trip to Brussels. The trip is preceded by a series of preparatory meetings to organise aspects of the trip. Upon returning from Brussels, students will write a reflective report detailing the activities that were undertaken and what they have learned from the experience.

- Organise a field trip to the major institutions of the European Union
- Organise and partake in high-level meetings with EU representatives
- Prepare briefing notes and other preparatory materials in advance of meetings.
