The emphasis of this course is on analyzing the basic concepts underpinning Quantum Theory and building up the necessary skill set to tackle problems in Quantum Mechanics. On completion, students should have a good understanding of quantum phenomena and be able to be able to apply fundamental quantum mechanics to a range of problems on idealized systems.
