On completion of this module students should be able to:
• Perform needs analyses on sports and/or athletes that will inform their practice within those contexts
• Critically appraise theoretical aspects of exercise physiology and sports nutrition data and literature
• Translate these appraisal skills into exercise and nutrition practice with clients and athletes
• Reflect on how emerging scientific literature interacts with experiential learning to inform practice, and how that practice can be evaluated
• Develop effective communication, dissemination and implementation skills to support nutrition education and coaching with athletes
