This module, NMHS 43430: Foundations of Research, will provide the student with a robust understanding of research in terms of approaches, research design and process. The module is delivered online over one trimester (12 weeks). The content explores areas such as:

• Articulation of a research question
• Planning issues in research
• Research ethics and rigour
• Research methodologies
• Research methods
• Constructing a research proposal
