Indicative Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
• Demonstrate a growing application of the requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes of the professional nursing values and conduct of the nurse.
• Apply critical thinking skills in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care to children, adults and their families in a range of settings.
• Purposefully use communication, leadership and management strategies to work effectively with patients, their families and other healthcare professionals.
• Actively engage with own learning needs and take actions to support life-long learning within society.
The students will gain a deeper insight into the professional, ethical and legal contexts of nursing in an array of social contexts within the specialist settings encountered.

Feedback on clinical performance during the placement will be given to the student by the Perceptor, co-Perceptor, Clinicla Nurse Manager/ Facilitator and Clinical Placement Coordinator
