Entry to this module is by AUDITION ONLY. DO NOT REGISTER TO THIS MODULE UNLESS you have successfully passed your audition. ALL those who pass their audition WILL be given a module place.
Students wanting to AUDITION for this module must submit a video audition through the application form available on the School of Music website, where further instructions can be found.
The deadline for receipt of videos is Friday 22nd of January at 11am - late applications will not be accepted.
The Philharmonic Choir offers students an opportunity to become familiar with the choral repertoire while developing their musicianship skills and analysing repertoire through practical engagement with same. The module will culminate in the creation of a virtual choir video.
Assessment will consist of a video submission (50%) and continuous assessment (50%), based on students' attendance and participation in rehearsals. Students unable to attend the live rehearsal sessions should inform the module coordinator as soon as possible before or after the relevant session.
