MUS20270 UCD Symphony Orchestra 4

Academic Year 2023/2024

The UCD Symphony Orchestra rehearses and performs works from the standard Classical/Romantic repertoire alongside more challenging works form the 20th century. Weekly rehearsals are followed by a week of intensive preparation and the results are presented in at least two annual public concerts. Participation is strictly by AUDITION ONLY. Registration alone does not guarantee a place in the orchestra. Students who are interested in taking this module should email orchestra@ucd.ie in order to arrange an audition at the beginning of the Trimester, and no later than the end of Week 1.
