Academic Year 2024/2025

This module is part of the Graduate Certificate in Child Art Psychotherapy for Paediatric and Child Psychiatry trainees.
Students will attend clinical supervision and will be provided with guidance on how to perform child art psychotherapy in a clinical setting.

Clinical supervision of Child Art Psychotherapy practice is delivered in an individual basis (1 to 1) and in small group settings (approx 5 - 6 students to 1 supervisor). Students are assessed on their attendance and engagement in child art psychotherapy practice when attending supervision.
100% attendance is expected, but 80% attendance is the minimum attendance required to achieve credit for the module. Absences must be discussed with the module coordinator or course lecturers, who will require supporting documentation (e.g. medical certificates). Students who miss part of the module may be asked to do a further piece of work in remediation.
