MATH10290 Linear Algebra for Science

Academic Year 2023/2024

This module is offered to first year science students. It is a comprehensive introduction into basic linear-algebraic structures and methods. It covers linear systems, algebra of matrices and analytic geometry in up to three dimensions. The main emphasis is put on methodological aspects as opposed to theoretical aspects and rigid theorem proving. Applications to science are part of the discussion.
