Personal Information Management (PIM) is the study of how people organize and manage information in their daily lives, including to-do lists, calendars, email, address books, and file management and social media. This module will focus on PIM activities including acquiring, organising, maintaining, retrieving, and using personal information, as well as major issues in PIM research. It will also explore how an understanding of PIM can be used in practice, in different contexts.

2. Evaluate the ways in which PIM issues are relevant in different contexts.
3. Define PIM and understand it's history and evolution.
