Pléifidh an modúl líon áirithe d'úrscéalta na Gaeilge chun forbairt an fhicsin Ghaeilge a léiriú. Díreofar go speisialta ar cheist an leanúnachais idir na húrscéalta agus traidisiún na Gaeilge, agus ar na saintréithe a tháinig chun cinn iontu faoi anáil an réalachais agus mar mhalairt ar an réalachas, agus ar na húrscéalta mar aisfhreagairt ar chás na Éireann ó ré na hAthbheochana i leith.

Anailís thuisceanach chriticiúil a dhéanamh ar úrscéalta na Gaeilge i dtéarmaí na stíle agus na staire liteartha; saibhriú teanga; eolas a léiriú ar na príomhshruthanna ficsin nua-aimseartha faoi mar a chastar orainn iad sa Ghaeilge agus ar shainiúlacht na saothar Gaeilge laistigh de na príomhshruthanna sin.
