Taught through Problem Based Learning, students will be in a position to offer a critical analysis of the EU's capacity as an international actor. They will be familiar with the institutional design of the EU's foreign policy making machinery and the scope and scale of its relationships with the rest of the world as well as its orgins and development. Students will also be able to identify weaknesses and strengths in the substance of the EU's "foreign policy" as well as understand and critically engage with debates surrounding the future of that policy.
