The technology evolution presents significant opportunity and challenges for entrepreneurs. Access to markets and competitive landscapes require entrepreneurs to consider digital enterprises from the point of innovation. This module aims to aims to development entrepreneurial competencies to systematically deal with complex and ever changing digital environment. It will teach digital tools to enable students to build a viable new ebusiness and grow an existing business digitally. Students will critically evaluate the methods, techniques and technologies to navigate the digital landscape. Students will work on real business scenarios, and develop and execute an innovative online market offering.

Learning Outcomes:

On Completion of this module, the learner will be able to:

1 Critically analyse methods, techniques and technologies in digital landscape

2 Make informed decisions for planning a viable e-business and grow e-business digitally

3 Evaluate a number of advanced and emerging challenges of operating an existing business in a digital environment

4 Design an appropriate eBusiness model for selected marketing offering

5 Exercise self-direction and originality in developing the complex task of launching a business in a digital environment

6 Implement a business concept, interrogate its business model, and test its validity in the marketplace.
