On completing this module, you will be able to:
• Critically assess the potential contribution of HR strategy and related practices to the success of a business;
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of selected human resource management policies and their application in practice, including employee resourcing, talent management and learning & development, performance management and reward strategies;
• Appreciate current challenges being faced by HR functions and line managers with respect to, for example, employee engagement, staff retention, employee wellbeing, supporting working carers, the management of change; diversity and inclusion and hybrid working.
