This module is designed to offer graduate students an introduction to what it is like to work on a major reserach project in the humanities. Subject to availability and skill set, you will be able to choose from a range of options which change yearly, and work with a principal research investigator to realise specific goals. A list of available projects will be emailed to all incoming MA students in August of each year.

Learning Outcomes:

* To gain experience of working on a major research project in History.
* To work closely with a Principal Investigator and deliver a specific set of outcomes.
* To develop your ability to overcome obstacles -e.g. identifying the skills you will need to realise agreed objectives, and finding ways of acquiring these.

Approaches to Teaching and Learning:
You will be involved in hands-on research, receiving appropriate training commensurate with the nature of the task. You will learn what it is like to be involved in a major team-based project.

How will my Feedback be Delivered?

You will receive ongoing feedback on the research you are undertaking via meetings with the PI. You will also receive written feedback on the final body of work you have produced along with the Blog.
