1) Demonstrate through written records a systematic and accurate approach to data collection
2) Explain orally and/or in writing the results of their research.
Each student will negotiate a research project, with the module co-ordinator liaising between the student and a faculty member offering the research project. Consequently the content will vary from student to student.

• Feedback individually to students, on an activity or draft prior to summative assessment
Students will receive individual oral feedback on their research while it is in progress, with attention to appropriateness of methods, data quality and recording accuracy. They will also receive oral feedback in the form of one-to-one discussion on how to prepare the presentation and report required for their specific project.
