Learning Outcomes:

Overview: Students in this course will learn to conduct in-depth financial analysis of both industries and their constituent firms, write analytical reports, and present their results. Each two-person team is expected to write and present one industry reports and three company analyses during the trimester. Both the students in the course as well as the faculty will discuss, comment on, and grade the written reports and class presentations. All members of the class are expected to actively participate in all sessions.

WARNING: This class requires students to be both self-directed and capable of accepting harsh criticism of their work. The goal is to help students learn to produce both first rate research into firms as well as report the results of that work to other professionals and the public at large. Expect blunt feedback on your work immediately following its presentation!
