On completion of this module, student should be able to:
* Pursue an independent research project;
* Plan, organise and execute a sustained and in-depth piece of academic research under the supervision of a member of academic staff;
* Define clearly and articulate research questions;
* Construct an appropriate and coherent argument;
* Research and develop an adequate bibliography on a chosen topic;
* Identify and evaluate relevant primary and secondary sources;
* Present the results of their research/creative work in a coherent, polished, and professional manner
