Develop mathematical models for magnetic circuits where iron includes all or part of the circuit;
Analyse and synthesise magnetic circuits;
Develop mathematical models for the fundamental electrical machines including transformers, induction machines and synchronous machines;
Analyse the operation of the basic machine types electrically coupled to various circuits and systems and mechanically coupled to loads or prime movers.
