The internship module is a key opportunity to build on the knowledge acquired during the first two semesters of the Economics Masters programmes, and to develop a range of new skills in the application of this knowledge to the specific setting of the host organisation.
The specific skills acquired by a student will depend upon the nature of the internship programme and specifications of the internship contract with the host. They may include, among other skills,
• research skills;
• written and oral communication skills;
• project management;
• presentational skills;
• data analysis;
• development of proficiency in particular computing softwares;
• knowledge and information management;
• strategic thinking and problem solving;
• time management and independent working;
