DRAM40500 Scripting Performance (GSA)

Academic Year 2021/2022

This module provides students with the skills needed to script original works of theatre and performance. Workshops and masterclasses support students to develop diverse types of theatre scripts including physical, visual (image-based), adapted, and written. Students are taught how to identify and research source material to support their imaginative and creative impulses, and to develop a creative portfolio in order to test ideas in the studio and generate small performance works. In this module students are encouraged to take risks in the development, scripting and communication of their work as theatre-makers.
