DRAM40470 Thesis Research Project

Academic Year 2021/2022

The Thesis Project comprises two parts and answers the thesis question in practice and in written modes.
The subject of the dissertation is decided by the student in consultation with a supervisor. It is an opportunity to research a topic, or to complete a project, resulting in extended written analysis, and/or documentation, practical performance, and critical evaluation.
The Thesis Project comprises currently a performance of a student's original work for theatre produced by UCD and the Gaiety School in the GSA OR Smock Alley theatre complex.
In addition students write an extended essay the aim of which is to invite students to reflect and evaluate their production, and analyse critically processes of research which contributed to the creation of their performance.
