On completion of this module the student should be able to:Have an advanced understanding of grass budgeting including the use of grassland management software, Describe the importance of secondary compounds in forage crops;Evaluate possible methods to improve the quality of perennial ryegrass swards;Assess the alternative forage systems and detail the advantages and disadvantages of each system; have the ability to construct a grassland management plan for a commercial farm.
