After completing this module, students should be able to recognize the theoretical alternatives in approaching foundational issues in the study of experience and behavior. They should recognize and articulate the main commitments, advantages, and drawbacks of the information processing and embodied schools of cognitive science, and they should be capable of engaging with contemporary scientific literature addressing such issues from a variety of theoretical perspectives.
