Curricular information is subject to change
On completion of this module, registrants will have a clear understanding of how signalling systems are organised in plant cells for the transduction of signals. They will also be able to discuss evidence for the presence of lipid microdomains in plant plasma membrane and the potential roles of lipid microdomains in plant cell signalling.
Indicative Module Content:Key topics that will be covered include:
(1) Organisation of plant signalling pathways
(2) Two-component signalling systems
(3) Abscisic acid signalling system in plants
(4) Membrane organisation
