At the end of this module, students will be able to:
1. Describe the elements of the immune response.
2. Describe innate immunity and antigen receptors.
3. Explain lymophocyte activation, relevant control mechanisms and T-cell regulation.
4. Apply their knowledge of the immune system to immunological diseases, malignant disease, infection and vaccines.
5. Discuss immunological methods and their applications.
6. Analyse and interpret ELISA and Flow cytometry data
